How will the slashing of ‘Obamacare’ by Trump’s administration impact health enrollments across US?

    Hi Rajani,

Without the subsidies, insurance markets could quickly unravel. Insurers have said they need to pay higher premiums and may pull out of the insurance exchange created under the ACA. Trump’s plan would lower your cost if your healthly. You could purchase an association plan that costs less but offers fewer than the 10 ACA benefits. If you did become sick, you might exceed the plan’s annual or lifetime limit.

Scraping Obamacare will lead to fewer people signing up to health insurance than people who are young and healthy, putting more pressure on health insurers.

As a result, insurance premium “prices are going to go up,” said the analysis’ author, Joshua Peck, former chief marketing officer for HealthCare.gov, the federally run Obamacare marketplace.
